Questions, answered
Everything you'd normally ask on a first call.
What is IndieBug?
IndieBug is a QA and playtesting service built for indie game developers. We play your game, document every bug we find with clear reproduction steps, and hand you a report you can act on the same day.
What's the difference between the three tiers?
Bug Scout is a single testing pass: a documented bug sweep delivered in 3 days. Bug Hunter adds a recorded session, player experience feedback and a PDF report, delivered in 5 days. Bug Slayer is full coverage: edge case testing, suggested fixes, ongoing collaboration and a handoff call, delivered in 10 days.
How does the budget work?
We put together a closed budget for your project within 24 to 48 hours, based on the tier, platform and how long your game is to play through. No hourly billing and no surprises partway through.
What platforms do you cover?
PC, mobile (iOS and Android) and Steam Deck. Tell us your target platform when you reach out so we can plan testing accordingly.
Is my game's confidentiality protected?
Yes. We only access the build you share with us, and we don't discuss or share details of your project outside the work we do together. If you need a signed NDA before sending a build, just let us know and we'll sort it out first.
